This Privacy Policy explains how GymNotes (the “App”), operated by Andy Aziri ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

1. What we collect

  • Account information: if you sign in, we process account identifiers needed for authentication and account management (for example, your user ID and sign-in information provided via Apple Sign In).
  • Workout and planning data: exercises, workout plans, sessions, set logs, history entries, and related content you create in GymNotes.
  • Profile information (optional): display name and profile details you choose to provide.
  • Subscription information (optional): if you purchase premium features, subscription and entitlement status are processed to unlock paid functionality.
  • Notification permission data: if you enable workout timer reminders, the App requests notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device.
  • Technical and diagnostic data: basic technical information may be processed by our infrastructure and providers to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

2. How we use information

  • Provide core functionality, including authentication and data syncing.
  • Operate, maintain, and secure GymNotes.
  • Process subscriptions and verify premium entitlements.
  • Provide local workout timer notifications when you enable them.
  • Respond to support requests and important service notices.

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run GymNotes, including with service providers that support authentication, backend storage/sync, and subscription infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service providers

  • Supabase: authentication and backend database/storage infrastructure.
  • RevenueCat: subscription status and entitlement management.
  • Apple: Apple Sign In and App Store billing/subscription processing.

5. Data retention

We retain account and app data for as long as needed to provide the service, including while your account is active, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update: you can update certain profile information in the App.
  • Delete account: GymNotes includes an in-app account deletion option in Profile.
  • Permissions: you can control notifications in your device settings.

7. Children

GymNotes is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, depending on where our providers operate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
